Eligibility & Conditions for Buyback

To ensure a fair and transparent process, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Original Purchase from Krishna Waterproof: The product must have been purchased directly from Krishna Waterproof under the OPQ brand to ensure authenticity and traceability.

  2. Good & Working Condition: The product must be functional, free from major defects or damages that would render it unusable. Minor cosmetic wear and tear are acceptable.

  3. Age Restriction: The product must not be more than three (3) years old, as older products may not meet quality and performance standards for redistribution.

  4. Evaluation Criteria for Buyback Price: The buyback value is determined by multiple factors, including:

    • Physical Condition: Any signs of excessive wear, missing components, or irreparable damage.

    • Age & Usability: Remaining functional lifespan and ability to perform efficiently.

    • Market Demand: Demand for the product type in the donation and secondary use ecosystem.

    • Refurbishment Costs: The estimated cost of necessary repairs, refurbishment, and logistics.

  5. Liability Disclaimer: Krishna Waterproof assumes no liability for the product once it has been collected under the buyback program. The company is not responsible for future use, functionality, or any claims related to the product after the buyback is completed.

Step-by-Step Buyback Process

We have developed a streamlined and hassle-free buyback process to ensure customer convenience:

  1. Initiation of Request: Customers can submit a buyback request through:

  2. Inspection & Evaluation: Our team will conduct an inspection either remotely (via photos/videos) or through an in-person assessment to determine eligibility and buyback value.

  3. Offer & Confirmation: Based on the evaluation, we will provide a buyback offer. Customers can either accept or decline the offer. The offer remains valid for seven (7) days from the date of issuance.

  4. Collection & Payment Processing:

    • If the customer accepts the offer, we will arrange for product collection at a mutually convenient time.

    • Once the product reaches our facility and is verified, payment will be processed within seven (7) business days via the preferred payment method.

Post Buyback Processing & Ethical Use

At Krishna Waterproof, we ensure that all bought-back products serve a greater purpose and do not contribute to environmental waste.

  1. Thorough Inspection & Refurbishment:

    • Every product undergoes a 100% quality inspection before any further processing.

    • If necessary, essential repairs and refurbishment are conducted to restore functionality.

  2. Ethical Redistribution & Donations:

    • No Resale as New or Refurbished Products: Krishna Waterproof does not resell buyback items as new or refurbished commercial products.

    • Instead, these products are primarily donated to eligible NGOs either free of cost or at a bare minimum price, ensuring they benefit underserved communities.

  3. Customer-Nominated NGO Donations:

    • Customers may suggest a specific NGO for their product donation.

    • If the nominated NGO accepts, the product will be directly transferred to them.

    • If the NGO declines, the product will be allocated to our standard donation queue.

  4. Environmental Commitment:

    • Any product that is deemed irreparable or unfit for reuse is responsibly disposed of following strict eco-friendly recycling practices to minimize waste and environmental impact.
